How we write, review, and correct

Every published article on BuilderConcierge AI has a named author, a publish date, a last-reviewed date, and — for technical topics — a named expert reviewer. We cite primary sources, disclose any commercial relationship, and correct meaningful errors in a visible Corrections section on the article itself.

Sourcing standards

  • Primary sources first: municipal planning departments, county records, FEMA, U.S. Census Bureau, the Federal Reserve, HUD, and state licensing boards.
  • Industry sources second: NAHB, AIA, ACEC, ASHI, and recognized trade publications.
  • Original analysis, calculators, and anonymized platform data where they add value.

Expert review

Articles on land due diligence, construction methods, structural decisions, financing, and legal topics are reviewed by a credentialed expert — licensed builder, residential architect, professional engineer, lender, land-use attorney, or surveyor — and the reviewer is named on the page.

Disclosures

We accept no payment from builders for referrals, listings, or preferred placement. Any commercial relationship that could reasonably affect editorial judgment is disclosed inline. See our content methodology.

Corrections

When a published article contains a factual error, we update the article, add a visible Corrections note describing what changed, and update the article's dateModified field. Cosmetic edits do not trigger a date change.

Common questions

Do you use AI to write articles?+

We use AI to draft outlines, surface citations, and accelerate research. Every published article is written or substantially edited by a named human author and reviewed by a subject-matter expert when the topic warrants it.

How do I report a factual error?+

Email editorial@builderconcierge.ai with the article URL and the specific claim. We aim to publish corrections within five business days.

Do you accept guest posts?+

Yes, from qualified industry professionals. Guest posts are clearly labeled and follow the same sourcing and disclosure standards as staff-written content. We do not accept paid placements.
